A B O U T  T P A

TPA is a not-for-profit trade association representing the independent payphone companies operating in Texas. The primary purpose of this state association is to represent its members before the Texas Legislature, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and other state regulatory agencies affecting the Texas payphone industry.

 

The association is owned and operated by its membership and governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The TPA offices and staff are located in Austin, a few blocks from the Capitol.

 

TPA is affiliated with the American Public Communications Council, the national payphone association, and supports the APCC effort to represent the payphone industry at the national level.

 

TPA conducts regional membership meetings every year. This year, the association will conduct its Winter Membership Meeting on January 31 in Dallas and its Summer Membership Meeting in San Antonio, July 31-August 1. During the summer meeting, the association conducts its annual trade show where manufacturers and suppliers display the latest in products and services available to the payphone industry.
