The American Public Communications Council, Inc., is the national trade association that represents the payphone industry before Congress and the Federal Communications Commission. Today, APCC represents about 1,000 independent payphone providers with approximately 400,000 payphones. In addition to handling legal and regulatory issues affecting the payphone industry.
